From April 30th to May 2nd, the seminar on partial differential equations organized by the School of Mathematics and Statistics (SMS) was successfully held in Room 113, Building 9, Ningbo University.
The seminar was hosted by Professor Chen Chuanqiang and Professor Ma Xinan, and nearly 60 experts, scholars and students from more than 20 universities and institutes, including China University of Science and Technology, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xiamen University, Wuhan University, Nanjing University, Sun Yat sen University, Lanzhou University, Qufu Normal University, etc., attended the seminar. Ten experts gave exciting reports, introducing the latest important developments in the field of partial differential equations and the unknown problems of partial differential equations that are the most concerning at the international forefront.
After the seminar, Professor Ma Xinan from the University of Science and Technology of China, Professor Xie Chunjing from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Professor Xia Chao from Xiamen University provided many useful suggestions on talent introduction and graduate cultivation.
The seminar has played a positive role in promoting research in the field of partial differential equations of Ningbo University and achieved the expected results.
